Briggo, an Austin-based company, celebrated the grand opening of their “Connected Coffee” experience at a new location just across from Gate 8 on July 17. Based out of Austin’s West Lake Hills neighborhood, Departure Lounge also provides travel advisors who help customers to design and reserve the ideal vacation, with special amenities and VIP upgrades through the Virtuoso luxury travel network.

Playing Around With a Tie Dye Piano
Traveling through an airport does not mean your music only comes from your headphones. While journeying through the Austin airport, feed your soul with live acoustic piano performances along with diners in the food court. Since the construction and renovation of Ray Benson’s Asleep at the Wheel Stage are underway, airport musical performances are even closer to visitors. Playing on a unique and very rare Baldwin Tie Dye Piano, these performances create a notable traveling experience.
The Tie Dye Piano is one of eight ever made and the Austin airport has the luxury of highlighting it to travelers and staff. Your mind will be mesmerized by the bright and beautiful colors in combination with the sweet riveting sounds of featured artists. Check here for a list of performances and find yourself lucky to be in the crowd. http://www.austintexas.gov/sites/default/files/images/Airport/shop_dine_art_music/music/music_schedule.pdf
